Cayli Yanagida, Managing Editor and Page Editor of Wide Load

Cayli Yanagida writes for the Capital Outlook newspaper. She is a managing editor, scheduled to graduate in 2020. Last year, Cayli specialized in InDesign, becoming the Copy Editor for Outlook’s newspaper, and is now the page editor for the Wide Load articles, as well as a managing editor for the paper. She has published multiple articles in the paper, including “What are students going to do about gun violence?” and “Iron Deficiency in Female Athletes”. In her free time, Cayli likes to participate in multiple different extracurriculars such as Speech and Debate and Cross Country running, as well as devoting time to traveling the world and playing music. The skills she has obtained through public speaking and performing has shaped her into an influential speaker and writer, set on pursuing a career in journalism and broadcasting.
