CHS Parking Pass Required to Park on Campus

Evynn Moore, Capital High School Reporter

Capital high school enacted a parking pass policy that takes effect for the rest of the school year. This policy requires students to buy a pass to park in the school’s parking lot. If parking is not available on school the policy requires you to park off campus.
For students this means they may have a harder time finding parking. It may also increase the workload for security that now has to ticket all vehicles without a pass.
The parking pass is $25, the parking pass lasts all year. Should you get ticketed it’ll be $25. Ms. Sharp the ASB secretary said that Capital has “sold 200 parking passes”. While Mr. Rubio said “the school has around 400 parking spaces for students”
Will Capital high school have an issue with parking spaces this year?
