I interviewed Ramon in our horticulture class. He was super easy to create a conversation with and was open overall great to talk to. It was a very chill, laidback talk with each other. I know Ramon because we have the same horticulture class and from our first conversation I quickly learned that he is very respectful and keeps to himself. I appreciate people like that, who mind their own business and don’t waste time putting down others or don’t make life more stressful to those around himaround. Although he is a very quiet individual when you get the chance to talk to him he is very kind.

Ramon grew up in Olympia and has lived here for quite some time. He has always been surronded by forests, rivers and beautiful mountains so he learned to love nature and be outside but when it is not so nice outside he likes spending his free time playing video games. I asked Ramon when did his dream career come to mind, his response was, “I hiked mt rainier when I was 13 and really liked it and wanted to do it more”. He grew up being taken on hikes and appreciating nature. We then started talking about childhood hobbies that carried into current hobbies, “I’ve always played video games when I get to be at home”. Playing video games still gives him the same enjoyment they did when he was a child. They bring him peace after a stressful day.

Always hiking and exploring nature Ramon gained perseverance which led him into being driven and working hard. Currently Ramon is a very hard worker and is focused to get a place of his own. “I am working on making more money to save up and move out”. He is working on that by “I am increasing my work hours by asking for more and covering people’s shifts”. He values stability and rewards to him are proof of his success. To balance his love for nature and his commitment to his career goals, his dream career is to “professionally climb mountains”. Growing up around lots of things to do in nature really inspired him to want to pursue a career that is in the mountains. 

Ramon loves working hard and perservering always. He is very resilient and enjoys the reward after making accomplishments. He is dedicated to hard work and admires material success. Ramon makes sure he deserves all the good that comes his way. To help him get through tougher times he listens to music, “music, music helps me get out of bad mindsets”. Music really helps him unwind and clear his head. He seems to be very passionate about music and has a lot of appreciation towards it.
