How does the car community view the recents and future changes to how the car industry will work?
January 23, 2023
I’m not the best person to write about this since I’m not involved in the car community compared to other people but I feel like that people need to know about this whether they’re in it or not, to educate people on this topic.
With the rise of climate change, ideas have risen to prolong or remove climate change as a whole. One of the ideas was the ban on combustion engines and the switch from gas-powered cars to electric cars., as well as a future technology to add to electric cars. The pros outweigh the cons of switching from gas to electric, however, they never got the views of those who love and/or idolize gas-powered cars. This has caused an uproar among the car communities, with their disapproval of the idea of the bands on cars or more in particular the combustion engine.
We will look at both sides and see what they have to say about the ban on combustion engines and the switch to electric cars. Let’s start off with the car communities and what they felt about the future of cars and what effects it has on the emotion of the communities.
A lot of the car communities are saddened by the news that the cars they love will be switched to eclectic and that the sounds that they love will also be gone by the near future.“If talk with the average car enthusiast about this subject, it becomes apparent that most are genuinely saddened by this prospective future.” Ronald Dimaggio said in an article called The Future of Cars: An Enthusiast Thoughts. Another thing about the care communities is that the cars that they love is more than an obsession, it’s a lifestyle. “If you talk with the average car enthusiast about this subject, it becomes apparent that most are genuinely saddened by this prospective future.” Mark Putzer said in an article called Why Do ‘Car Guys and Girls’ Hate Electric Cars?
Let’s hear what the other side has to say about the future of cars.
Those who love electric cars say that electric vehicles are just better due to the power they produce on the wheels. “EVs also deliver more power. Each wheel can run on its own individual electric motor. For example, the Drako GTE EV has four electric motors, one at each wheel, producing 225 kilowatts, which is equal to around 300 horsepower each. Together, that gives the car 1,200 horsepower to work with.” Max Wengroff said in an article called The Future of Cars Is Here. Some other things that some say are that they’ll have lower maintenance costs and will be much safer compared to those who drive a car. “Besides being better for the environment, Kapoor pointed out, electric cars also have far fewer moving parts than combustion engines, which makes for lower maintenance costs and a longer estimated vehicle life,” Vanessa said in an article called The Future of Cars Is Electric, Autonomous, and Shared—Here’s How We’ll Get There.
Well, both pros and cons for either side. The stakes are served and not served at the same time. If we leave cars as they are, the car communities will continue to live with how they are now but if we stay that way, there might be environmental problems that can arise even in the crisis that we are feeling as time moves on. If we switch to electric, the environment might get better, though the top thing is that cars will be safer and a lot easier to deal with if they break down, the down said that right now is the range that they can travel in. I think this is something that we might just have to watch from the sideline.
