In honor of season two coming in 2022, here is a review of Good Omens. 

Good Omens is a comedy about the birth of the son of Satan and the coming of the apocalypse. The angel Aziraphale (Micheal Sheen) and the demon Crowley (David Tennant) attempt to sabotage the coming of the apocalypse, having grown accustomed to their comfortable surroundings in England.

The show is six episodes long, with each episode about 50-58 minutes long.

Charlie Tourtillot, a Freshman, explained how they knew the show would be a perfect fit for them, “I saw the commercials for it when I was really little and then forgot about it for a couple years. Then my friend told me about [Good Omens] when I first met them and I was like: ‘Oh yeah, I remember that!’” 

Tourtillot affirmed that they knew they were,“going to enjoy the show.” 

By the end of the first episode, though, “I was a little confused because I had absolutely no idea what was going on.”

“The story itself was alright, but at this point I am more attached to the characters,” Tourtillot further explained that, “I think the actors are absolutely perfect for the characters.” 

Freshman, Casper Franco is also a fan of the show. They discovered [the show] When they were “lazing about one summer day, I saw a preview for it and it had the ‘Queen’ soundtrack, and this was in the middle of my ‘Queen’ phase, so I was immediately attached, and I ended up watching it several years later.” 

“I was honestly very biased, because I love both the main actors, [Micheal Sheen] [David Tennant] Casper shared, “but I thought it was very well put together. It has a very nice theme and everything. I loved the main characters a lot, I think they’re really nice. Especially with so much that they did, with their friendship growing over the years, it was really nice to see. I think they’re really well fleshed-out and the plot is really nice too, but like I said I’m very biased, I love both the main actors.” 

Casper’s favorite thing about the show was, “The way that they made everything so authentic. They did a really amazing job with all the costumes and the hair and stuff. It all looks very nice”

Good Omens season one finished airing May 31, 2019, and season two is due to release sometime in 2022. This series is short and easy to watch in one or two days. I personally enjoyed the show and I think it’s definitely worth watching.
