With the pandemic at hand, people have been forced to stay at home giving them a lot more free time. This free time has given them the opportunity to watch many different TV shows.

It is important that we have entertainment like TV shows during this time as it keeps us occupied. If you’re struggling to find new TV shows to watch, I have interviewed two people that I know are avid TV shows viewers to help recommend and inform you on the different TV shows they have been viewing during this pandemic.

Ty Anderegg, a senior at CHS and a TV Show Enthusiast, has been watching a variety of different shows during this pandemic. When asked what shows he has been watching he replied “I picked up Jeopardy! over the pandemic because I like trivia. I’ve also been watching Better Call Saul and The Haunting of Bly Manor. Haunting of Bly Manor and Better call Saul caught my interest because they were related to previous shows I’ve seen.” When another senior at CHS Ryann Fiess who describes herself as a Television/Film Connoisseur was asked she responded saying that “I watched Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, The Inbetweeners. With Avatar it went on Netflix and everyone was talking about it and I remembered it from my childhood, Korra I watched just because it was the sequel to Avatar but I ended up loving it, for The Inbetweeners, my friends were talking about it so I decided to watch it. I also like making fun of British people.” When I asked both interviewees what shows they disliked watching over the pandemic Ty responded “I didn’t like The Haunting of Bly Manor. It was okay but it didn’t live up to its predecessor The Haunting of Hill House. It was interesting but I didn’t find it nearly as scary as The Haunting of Hill House.” While Ryann responded with “Probably Breaking Bad. I just felt like it got too hard to watch for me. I just like my TV shows to be a break for me, but that show was just not my type.” Both with very controversial opinions as both shows were well received by the public especially Breaking Bad which received multiple awards including the Golden Globe for Best Television Series – Drama in 2014.

With these recommendations in mind, hopefully you now have some options on what you might want to watch during this pandemic. So what will you watch next?
